MOONBUG is a documentary about Steve Pyke's 1998 project to photograph the key figures in NASA's Apollo Moon landing project. The film was classified 'PG' for mild language.

The documentary includes mild language such as 'crap', 'screw', 'bullshit', 'hell' and 'pissed off'. This is delivered without aggression as astronauts recall their time in space. This accords with the BBFC's Guidelines at PG, which state that there may be 'Mild bad language only'.

The film also shows footage of the aftermath of the Apollo I fire accompanied by a verbal description of the disaster. There is no sight of the dead astronauts. Finally, there is a brief comic sequence as one of the film crew jokes that Steve has a foot fetish while he takes a photo of an ex-astronaut's foot. It's all taken in good spirit with no real sexual connotation.
